We work to improve the quality of life for residents of Albany's South End and beyond by reclaiming our neighborhoods and encouraging, engaging, and empowering our communities.
We listen to the needs of the residents, we aggregate their voice, we support them in addressing community issues, and we empower them to stand up for themselves.
Our job is to identify the tools needed for change and then help the community access them. We carry out this mission by meeting with community members on a regular basis, launching community building events, and collaborating with community partners. We reclaim vacant lots, organize neighborhood clean-ups, work with neighborhood youth, and engage in public issue advocacy.
